“My experience with Tampabay Cat Alliance has been a great one! I worked
with Allison and she was
amazing. I adopted 7 year old "Yahtzee" (a gorgeous lilac Himalayan
cat) the day before Easter this year. At first he was a bit
"hesitant" at his new home but Allison assured me this is very normal
and she was right. After 3 days he was used to me and we have grown so close
that it seems like I've had him since he was a kitten. Thanks to Allison and
everyone at TBCA for all you do for our feline friends and connecting them to a
"forever home." Patti Adams, Happy Cat Fancier - padams@fumcsp.org
“Alison assisted in finding both of my cats wonderful homes. I had two
older cats that I needed to re-home due to circumstances beyond my control and
was afraid that they would end up at a shelter and put down. Alison helped
relocate both of my babies and keeps tabs on them and reports back to me that
they are doing great. Thanks Alison and
Tampabay Cat Alliance.” Relieved, Kelly Brown, kellyintampa0322@tampabay.rr.com
“Alison found my wonderful cat, Scarlet a new and loving home when I
could no longer care for her. I trust
Alison and Tampabay Cat Alliance to find a good and permanent home for any
lucky cat. This is one great organization!”

“Last September I spotted a notice on Craigslist about a Maine Coon who
had been abandoned and needed a forever home or he was in danger of being put
to sleep. I had been looking for a Maine Coon and I responded to the listing.
Alison told me about the cat and that he was scared and might have some
problems, but she was sure he was a good boy. I got him home and he went into
hiding under the bed...not coming out to use the litter box, or eat or drink.
Alison was there with advice and encouragement, and although it took a couple
of weeks, he finally came out and let me love him. ‘Omaha’ is the sweetest, most loving and laid back
cat. He and his 'brother' give my husband and me such joy. I am so grateful to
Alison for having faith in that scared kitty...and having the faith in me that
I could be a great 'mom' for him.” April Friedman -

“Alison did an awesome job helping me place a cat I had rescued. This
kitty is so special and deserved the same in a home! She was a stray in my
neighborhood and decided to ‘adopt’ my house to have her kittens. When they were 8 weeks old, I found them all
homes. Well, of course it’s harder to find an older cat a home! So I got her
spayed and shots, but was worried about finding her the right place. Trying on
my own was discouraging. Alison saw my ad and offered to help place her on the
website. It took time but the right home came along! I am so grateful for what
Alison has done, and the peace of mind that I have knowing that ‘Mama’ has a
great home!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Amy Dorsett - adorsett@tampabay.rr.com
“I can't say enough good things about Tampa Bay Cat Alliance. About to
lose my home, I had a great 2 year old fixed male "tuxedo" kitty, Mr.
B whom I couldn't keep. For months I had been unsuccessful in finding a new
family for him. I made contact with Alison late last November through the TBCA
website. She called me back promptly, came to meet Mr. B and me, took pictures,
and assured me he was a great, adoptable cat and would work to find him a new
home. By Christmas, her efforts were rewarded with interest from an older
couple. Alison made all the arrangements, took him to his new family and stayed
in touch through the "transition" period. It was truly memorable when
she called to say this couple had decided to adopt Mr. B for keeps. Thank you
TBCA, and especially Alison.” Mary F.,
